KFS Student Bookstore

KFS Student bookstore is 100% owned by Teknologkåren at Lund University, and is located on the upper level of the Studiecentrum on John Ericsson's route 4 opposite Kårhuset .

KFS in Lund AB was founded in 1972 as "Kompendieförmedlingen Sigma" (KFS), as an integral part of the LTH (now Teknologkåren ). In the beginning, the business focused on producing compendiums in its own printing house. Since 2009, KFS has been a pure bookstore with publishing.

In the bookshop you will find course literature, compendiums and a wide range of office supplies. The aim of KFS is to make literature available to all students at LTH at affordable prices.

Course literature

KFS Studentbokhandel provides course literature, Swedish and foreign publishing books, compendiums and other study material. For many years, KFS has been working together between teachers at nearby institutions, making it easy to adapt course literature, for example, to adapt to the course literature. in the form of book packages.

Compendia

Through KFS's integrated publishing house, we manage contacts and royalty agreements with authors and institutions at Lund University.

Office supplies

KFS offers a wide range of office supplies. Upon request, we are happy to take products home if possible.

Profile products

In cooperation with Lund University and Teknologkåren kfs provides some of LU's profile products mainly T-shirt and sweaters.

How it works:

  1. Visit the bookstore and register

  2. Evaluate and submit the book.

  3. We receive an edition older than current course literature.

  4. The book gets sold and you get paid.

How is the price determined?

It is always you who enter the price yourself, which is appropriately set in relation to condition, new price and edition.

Price ranges relative to new price:
- Mint condition The book is in mint condition 60%
- Approved The book is edged and has highlighters 50%
- Worn condition The book is edged with many highlighters 40%

Submission terms

The customer gives KFS the exclusive right to sell the book for 2 months. If the customer wants to cancel the assignment earlier, sek 30/book will be charged. The customer has the right to recover unsold books after 2 months but no later than within 12 months of submission. After about 11 months, an e-mail is sent to the customer with a message that the time has soon expired. After 12 months, books that have not been picked up or sold are discarded.

Payment

When the book is sold, KFS will send an email to your e-mail address. You enter the store yourself or through a proxy and collect your money.
