CIVIL AND FIRE ENGINEERING RINGS

These rings require that you have been a member of Teknologkåren throughout your whole time studying at LTH.

When you get your degree certificate from LTH's office, go to Teknologkårens expedition, or email a certificate that you have completed your degree to expen@tlth.se, where it is verified that you have been a member of Teknologkåren throughout your studies. If you have been a member, a ring certificate will be issued, with which you can obtain the ring. If you have had a break in your studies or have been abroad, you must notify us so that you are not prevented from obtaining your ring for this reason.

Birger Pellas designed the LTH ring and the LTH emblem in 1965.

The ring is now also available in a narrow version - the ring model that was created in 1996 at the request of LTH Students are now back in production.

The waiting time to receive your ring once it has been ordered varies greatly; the shortest waiting time is typically three weeks, but in spring, the waiting time can be much longer.

DOCTOR CALLS

The approach to having a doctoral ring is different. The doctoral rings are handled by Lund University as part of the doctoral program. More information can be found on the university's website.

Some tips for those who are getting a LTH ring:

• Don't try on the size at home with a tape measure! Test at a jeweler to make sure you get the right size.

• The ring is approximately 7 mm wide. The narrow ring is about 5.5 mm wide

• If you graduate one year and order the ring another year, make sure you get the correct graduation year engraved in the ring.

• Make sure you have been a member of the Teknologkåren throughout your whole time studying at LTH when you wish to collect a ring certificate from Teknologkåren. If you have not been a member, you should have a certificate showing that you have had reason not to be a member.
