Teknologkåren is one of Lund's largest rental companies of sound and lighting technology. Here you see a selection of our most popular products, but we have much more technology in stock that we also rent out. In addition, we have knowledgeable staff who can help with the technology if desired. The prices in this list apply to external customers. We give large discounts to Teknologkårens Guilds , other fraternities, Lunds Tekniska Högskola and also privately to members of the Teknologkåren . Contact Pedellen for more information on what discount we can offer you.

All prices are per rental day and no VAT is added. A handling fee of approximately SEK 215 will be added. When renting for longer periods, the price per day is discounted.

Speakers and Sound Systems

Small sound system

Two speakers, an amplifier, mixer and microphone. The system is only small compared to our other packages. It is excellent for use as a disco system in smaller rooms, but is best suited as a speech system, for mingle music. Easy to connect and sounds both good and loud. We also have brackets to set the speakers as monitors on the floor and then the system is well suited as a co-listening for a smaller band. Available both as active and passive

2 full range speakers, 1 end stage (for passive system), 1 mixer, 1 wire microphone, speaker stand, cabling.

Medium-sized sound system

Our medium-sized sound system is suitable as disco sound in rooms up to about 150 m2. Also suitable as live band audio for smaller live shows. The package includes separate 15-inch bass speakers which provide significantly more "omf" compared to the small audio system. For outdoor events we recommend the package of 2 base boxes.

1-2 active subwoofers 15", 2 active full-range speakers, 1 mixer, 1 wire microphone, speaker stands, cables.

Large sound system

This is a PA that means business. Our large sound system is well suited for disco sound for rooms up to about 300 m2 or for outdoor gigs. Teknologkåren We use this system at large events such as the Tandem Relay and Regattaslaget. Examples of artists who have played on this system are Movits, Panda da Panda and Discoteka Yugostyle.

The large sound system is a little more complicated to set up than our smaller systems. In addition, it requires a slightly larger vehicle to transport it. We are happy to help you with rigging and with the settings so that it sounds really good.

This is included:

Power amplifier and signal processor (Driverack 260, LAB4000, LAB6400, Botex 16A power supply), 4 double 18" subwoofers, 2 full-range speakers (SRX 722), 1 mixer, 1 wire microphone, cabling.

Our smaller analog mixing desks are perfect for those who want to be able to connect a couple of microphones together with the DJ to the same sound system. One of these mixing desks is always included in our sound packages.

Rack mixer 18 channels Behringer XR18

Digital rack mixer with 18 channels (16 preampade and 2 "line") and 6 aux-sendar. The mixer lacks studs and steering plates, instead it is controlled over Wifi using an iPad or similar. Wifi router is included in the case.

Pre-assembled DJ benches that contain both CD players and mixers. Anyone who doesn't need such an advanced bench, we have a slightly cheaper option with pioneer xdj-rx. The bench can play from USB sticks.

Smoke & Haze

Theater smoke makes your disco lights look at least twice as impressive. Our smoke machines are easy to use with the included remote control or via DMX. Our smoke machines are powerful and one is easily enough to fill even quite large rooms with smoke. Smoke fluid is not included and must be purchased separately (only smoke fluid purchased through us may be used)

The differences between haze and smoke are that haze is a relatively thin mist that refracts light rays without obstructing visibility very much. Smoke is thick and makes it a bit difficult to see, which can "shrink" the dance floor and give an exciting effect for a shorter time. However, dancing in a room that is constantly filled with smoke is not very pleasant. If you are not sure which is right for you, we recommend choosing the hazmat machine.
