Sabbatical Officers

President is Teknologkårens 's main representative and spokesperson. President maintains continuous contact with other student unions, nations and cooperation bodies. President has employer responsibility for Teknologkårens officials and paid functionaries. President is also the responsible publisher for Kårnytt.

President represents LTH:s students in LTH:s board and LTH:s presidium, sits as Teknologkårens representative in LUS Ting and acts as Teknologkårens shareholder representative in the association's companies.

The Secretary-General manages Teknologkårens 's finances and financial management. This includes ongoing financial monitoring and analysis and the management of Teknologkårens assets. The Secretary General is also responsible for negotiating contracts and preparing budgets and financial statements for the organization.

Membership management and administration of membership fees are also the responsibility of the Secretary General, as well as training officials within the organization in financial management.

Head of Educational Advocacy is responsible for leading and coordinating the Teknologkårens Education Committee. This includes convening and leading the Education Committee Management Group and the Strategy Group. The Head of Education is also Teknologkårens the main person responsible for research and doctoral education issues, sits as a regular member of LTH:s research board and doctoral education board and is the Unions the contact person for the Doctoral Section.

Head of Internal Educational Affairs is ultimately responsible for the coordination and management of Teknologkårens student representatives. Head of Internal Educational Affairs is responsible, together with the Education Committee, for Teknologkårens political advocacy work, including being a regular member of LTH:s management group for undergraduate education.

Head of Social Affairs coordinates and leads Teknologkårens advocacy work on student social issues. He or she is also responsible for developing Teknologkårens activities from a study-social perspective. Head of Social Affairs is also an Equal Treatment Representative as well as a Coordinated Student Protection Representative and sits as a regular member of LTH:s task force for equality, equal treatment and diversity.

Head of External Educational Affairs is ultimately responsible for the coordination and management of Teknologkårens national advocacy work. Head of External Educational Affairs is responsible, together with the Education Committee, for Teknologkårens political advocacy work, this by representing Teknologkåren in the LUS Presidential College and coordinating the work towards the United Student Unions of Sweden.

Pedellen is responsible for Teknologkårens local supply. Partly through the management of Kårhuset and Lophtet, and partly through contact with the faculty. Pedellen is responsible for the operation and development of internal and external rental Kårhuset and at Lophtet, as well as Teknologkårens Technology.

The activity coordinator is responsible for coordinating and developing Teknologkårens social activities. Head of Recreation is chairman of the Recreation Committee , which runs a number of different projects such as pub activities, balls and Teknologkårens LGBTQ association ProudTech. The activity coordinator is the contact person with the social organizations, the permit unit and the police authority in Teknologkårens alcohol-related issues and, together with Head of Corporate Relations , is responsible for Teknologkårens alumni activities.

Head of Corporate Relations responsible for Teknologkårens day-to-day business activities. This means both labour market events, as well as sponsorship and donations to Teknologkåren . Head of Corporate Relations is also, together with Head of Recreation , responsible for Teknologkårens alumni activities.

ARKAD is Sweden's largest labor market fair, attracting around 200 exhibitors from all over the country and a large number of visitors each year. Project Manager, ARKAD leads the work of the fair, which is organized through the project group, coordinators and hosts.

Teknologkårens range of events is enormous. The need to spread the information about the Unions news out to the members is at least as great. Head of Public Relations is the one who directs, edits, lays out and designs the majority of the information that is visible to the outside. The information should not only look nice, but it should be easily accessible and relevant. Head of Public Relations handles this through, among other things, the website, Kårnytt, Facebook, Instagram and honest posters.
