Cooperative associations

Teknologkårens associations are organisations that operate outside the The Union , but with which we have an established partnership in order to offer an even wider range of activities for our members.

Alumni Association

The Alumni Association is for those who have completed or are in the process of Education . The association offers contact networks with alumni from your own, as well as other programs. The Alumni Association is Teknologkårens official and only alumni association. The association organizes social activities, guest lectures, newsletters and much more that stills any feelings of nostalgia that may arise for the former students who feel that student life is too fun to completely abandon!

FEMVAK'D

Femvak'D was founded in 1985, the year after the students finally got their own corps, TLTH. Prior to 1984, the students of Lund students' union and to present our views in their deputies ( the Representative Council ) we had a party called FEMVAK, which was later renamed FEMVAK'D. The last year we were in Lund's students' union we had 18 seats in deputies, which gave us great influence in student union politics. It was these 18 who formed the Order Society.

iGEM Lund

iGEM is a competition in synthetic biology where teams from all over the world design and carry out their own research projects, which they then compete with. One should not be fooled by the fact that the text "synthetic biology", it is far from only biotechnology for which this is relevant, for a project to be successful, knowledge of biology, chemistry, mathematics, electronics and programming is required.

Engineers for Underwater Engineering, IfU

IfU is the diving association at Lunds Tekniska Högskola. It was restarted in 97 after lying down for a long time and aims to promote diving interest among students. This means, of course, that we try to dive as much as possible and keep prices down, but also that we try to invite speakers to learn more about everything related to diving.

Engineers without borders's student group at LTH

Engineers without borders conduct volunteer projects around the world, seminars in Sweden and activities to inspire young people to become engineers.

LARA

Lund Aerospace and Rocketry Association (LARA) is an association formed in 2019 with the purpose of promoting interest in rocketry at LTH. We do this through regular meetings where we build and develop our own rockets. We do everything from our own noskones to our own software. Anyone interested in space and rocketry is welcome and no prior knowledge is required, we are here to learn together. We have around 100 members and if you want to become a member, you can go to our website and sign up there and you will receive information about what is happening and when. We also have some positions of responsibility that you can apply for at the annual meetings. We are very much looking forward to meeting more students interested in space and launching many rockets together!

LTH -the choir

LTH-The choir is one of Lund's mixed student choirs. It is a non-profit organization that was formed in 1994. Perhaps most characteristic of the choir is the great variety of the repertoire. where each semester brings challenges in the form of new songs from many different genres.

The choir annually arranges its own Christmas and spring concerts and is happy to sing with other choirs in different constellations, and can be booked to sing at parties and other events.

Every semester there is an appreciated choir camp where the members go away for a weekend to rehearse and socialize. This, together with, among other things, the choir's parties contributes to the good social community.

If you want to try singing in the choir, you can come up with one of our open ropes at the beginning of the semester. Anyone who wants to join the choir will have to do a small singing test with our conductor, and will be offered a membership if the test is passed and if there is room in the choir.

Lund Formula Student

Lund Formula Student is a non-profit organization whose goal is to design, develop and manufacture a top-notch racing car during a school year, and then during the summer compete against other universities in the Formula Student competition. There are over 600 universities worldwide competing in 3 different classes, Combustion, Electric and Driverless. We here in Lund aim to have an ethanol car and an electric car ready to compete, but in addition to that we are also working on a concept for an autonomous system that will be integrated into a finished car for the competition season 2021.

The project was founded in 2006 and since then the association has designed and built 11 cars. In recent years, LFS has developed to become a leader in both Sweden and the Nordic region within the Combustion class, and it is with excitement that an electric car is now being built for the first time ever in the association's history.

If you are eager to join our journey and at the same time have the opportunity to gain practical experience working with a large engineering project, you are very welcome to come to us!

Lundapyrot

LundaPyrot is a non-profit association at Lunds Tekniska Högskola. We compose and organize fireworks and special effects, both indoors and outdoors, in all sizes for both companies and associations as well as individuals. LundaPyrot was founded in 1986 when a lund student experienced a fireworks display by our sister association, Chalmers Pyrotechnic Committee from Gothenburg. He thought it was so funny that he decided that Lund also needed a pyrotechnic association. With a little start-up help from Chalmers, LundaPyrot was started and since then the association has only grown. Our recruitment period is open during the the Introduction and anyone who thinks fireworks are fun and interested in learning more are welcome to search.
