the Recreation Committee offers members the opportunity to take part in the wonderful student life in Lund, for example by organizing parties, pubs, entertainment and cultural activities.
The committee's activities are mainly carried out in a number of projects. If you have an idea for your own project to run, please feel free to contact the Activity Coordinator.

Items in the Recreation Committee
ACTIVITY COORDINATOR
The Activities Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and developing the social activities of Teknologkårens . Head of Recreation chairs the Recreation Committee and is responsible, together with Head of Corporate Relations , for Teknologkårens alumni activities. The position is full-time.
SURFACE WASH
The Chief Marshal is responsible for Teknologkårens ceremonial duties. This includes coordinating Teknologkårens Fanborg, ensuring that requests and invitations are sent out to the right people for ceremonial events, managing Teknologkårens flags and standards and, together with the regular Fanbearer, the Activity Coordinator, representing Teknologkåren on occasions when the flag is to be carried.
DEPUTY FLAG BEARER
The task of the alternate flag bearer is to assist the regular flag bearer or the Activity Coordinator, at ceremonies when Teknologkåren should be represented. This includes filling in if the regular flag bearer is unable to attend, as well as being available to participate in the occasional cases where two flag bearers are required for a ceremony.
the pub Pub
the pub Pub is the Teknologkårens pub, which is open to all members and holds pubs about twice a month. You can find it in the Cornelis pub, which is located directly to the right from the main entrance of the Union House.
PUBMASTER
As a Pub Master, you are part of developing Teknologkårens pub activities and have a more overall responsibility regarding finances.
PUBADEPT
As a Pubadept, you are part of the management team for the pub Pub. Together with the Pubmaster and the other Pubadepts, you plan how you want the pubs to be, partly what food and drink to serve at the pub Pub as well as theme and frequency.
PROUD TECH
Proud Tech is Teknologkårens LGBTQ association, which organizes social events for LGBTQ students and raises the visibility of LGBTQ issues for the students at LTH. This can be in the form of pubs, game nights, participation in Pride festivals and much more.
PROUD TECH DIRECTOR
The Proud Tech Director is the chair of Proud Tech and has overall responsibility for the group's activities.
PROUD TECHARE
The Proud Techs are tasked with assisting the Proud Tech Director in his work.
SINGING COMPETITION
TLTH Song Contest is Teknologkårens annual competition between The Guilds in singing, music and spex. Many classic songs originate from TLTH Song Contest which has been organized for almost 60 years!
SINGER BATTLE GENERAL
The General of the Song Contest is the President of the Song Contest. The Song Battle General has overall responsibility for the planning of the event and must keep in touch with the Song Battle Leaders of the sections.
SONG CONTEST COLONEL
The role of the Song Contest Colonels is to assist the Song Contest General in his work.
CORNELIUSBALL
Corneliusbalen is Teknologkårens recurring spring ball that invites Teknologkåren and other friends in Lund to celebrate the union we work for with pomp and circumstance! Do you like to organize parties where style and abundance are in focus? Then this is the place for you!
BALL MASTER - CORNELIUS BALL
As Ball Master, you will lead the project team in its work to organize the Cornelius Ball. You have overall control of the finances and planning of the ball. Maybe the ball has a new interesting partner that makes the ball so extra good? Only you and your group can decide!
BALADEPT - THE CORNELIUS BALL
As a member of the Cornelius Ball project group, you have the opportunity to influence everything from the overall theme of the ball to the food served. Maybe the ball is in the Gasqusalen, maybe it is in the Blue Hall? Only you can answer these questions! You will also meet a wonderful group of people who are all equally eager to make the ball the best Teknologkåren has ever seen!
THE DANCE COURSES
The dance courses organize courses in different types of dance
DANCE MASTERS
The dance master coordinates the activities of the dance courses.
DANSADEPT
The dance dancers assist the Dance Master in its work.
TANDEM
the Tandem Relay is a big event for the whole of Lund's student life where you cycle on a tandem bike from Gothenburg to Lund. This is done in stages, and when you are not cycling, you ride a bus with the others in the team. A lot of fun happens on the way and the event gives you many unforgettable memories.
TANDEMGENERAL
As Tandem General, you coordinate Teknologkårens participation in the Tandem Relay. You lead the sections' Tandem Officers and plan with them overall things such as joint events before the tandem and Teknologkårens themes for the tandem. You also plan the small details like: Who Guilds rides with each other? Can you play the whole sea storms on the bus? Of course, you are also part of the cross-corps and cross-national community that only arises during the Tandem Relay.
ANNIVERSARY GROUP
Only years of anniversary!
The anniversary group is responsible for organizing appropriate celebrations of Teknologkårens and the Union House anniversaries when they occur. The last anniversary was celebrated in 2024 when Teknologkåren turned 40 and Kårhuset 30.
JUBILEE GENERAL
The Jubilee General is the Chair of the Jubilee Group. In addition to the above tasks, the Jubilee General shall maintain good contact with alumni so that they can be included in Jubilees in a positive way.
THE JUBILEE OVERSEER
The task of the Jubilee Reviewers is to assist the Jubilee General in his/her work.
THE NEW YEAR'S BALL
New Year's Ball is Teknologkårens recurring ball that invites Teknologkåren and other friends in Lund to celebrate the past year with pomp and circumstance and toast the new! Do you like to organize parties where style and abundance are in focus? Then this is the place for you!
BALL GENERAL - NEW YEAR'S BALL
As the Ball General, you will lead the project team in its work to organize New Year's Ball. You have overall control of the finances and planning of the ball. Maybe the ball has some new interesting partner that makes the ball so extra good? Only you and your group can decide that!
