ARKAD

ARKAD is southern Sweden's largest labour market fair organized by Teknologkåren every year. During two days in November, approximately 200 companies and organisations LTH to meet all the interesting students who are training here. The fair is an excellent opportunity to make valuable contacts in the world of work, discuss interesting degree projects/summer jobs/trainee services, and get a glimpse of what the future of the engineer/architect/industrial designer has to offer. In connection with the fair there are a number of exciting events, such as lectures with invited speakers and visits to companies.

There are also many opportunities for fun and developing engagement in ARKAD. As a member of the project team or as a coordinator, you can work on your leadership skills while getting to know many other driven technologists. In addition, you will have even better opportunity to forge close ties with those who exhibit at the fair.

Organization

PROJECT MANAGER ARCADE

Project Manager, ARKAD is responsible for planning, arranging and evaluating Teknologkårens labour market days ARKAD. The project manager leads ARKAD's project group. The position is full-time.

The project team

The project team consists of between 15 and 20 students who together are responsible for the implementation of ARKAD and ensure that both students and exhibitors get a good experience. The members of the project team have different responsibilities, such as fair and logistics, business contact, PR, IT, recruitment and events.

The project team will be set up at the beginning of the year.

Coordinators

ARKAD's coordinators are responsible for helping the project team to koodine a specific part of the fair, ranging from technology and web development to entertainment at the grand ARKAD banquet. The coordinators have before and during the fair a number of hosts to their help who are responsible for working management. The positions will be filled during the spring semester before the fair.

Hosts

What it means to host at ARKAD varies depending on your role. In conjunction with the fair, we organise lunchtime lectures, evening events, set up rooms for the fair, make sure companies find the right ones & are happy, arrange contact with students, take photos, cook lunch, pull in the big banquet, and much more!
